Merrion Fertility Clinic - About us

Our quality programme

Merrion Fertility Clinic is authorised to operate as a Tissue Establishment, regulated by the Irish Medicines Board, and affiliated with the Irish Fertility Society.
The application of a quality management system to assisted conception services supports the drive towards continual improvement and a consistency across all services.

Two objectives we aim to achieve through quality management are:

  • Rational and efficient treatment of our patients from first contact through all stages of assisted reproductive treatment to outcome management.
  • Evaluation of the risks in all aspects of workflow and health & safety, as well as in the documentation and prevention of any errors in patient management.

These are measured in terms of quality assurance.
In aspiring to meet our patients’ requirements and in giving them satisfaction in the care they receive, we have implemented a quality management system which facilitates safe, efficient and effective working practices and patient focused services. The interaction between all activities is clearly identified and managed so that there is seamless transition from one activity to the next.
