Eileen Barrett

Eileen Barrett's nursing qualifications and experience have taken her through the areas of General Nursing and Midwifery, Spinal Injury and Rehabilitation and Neonatal Intensive Care, both in Ireland and Australia. She joined Merrion Fertility Clinic in January 1999 shortly after its inception and has gained a vast amount of knowledge in the whole area of Reproductive Medicine.  She lectures in Infertility Management to the RCSI students in the National Maternity Hospital and to the final year midwifery students in UCD. Eileen instigated the availability of the Advanced Certificate in Ultrasound Scanning course for Fertility Nurses in Ireland with UCD.  She set up the Irish Fertility Nurse Group and is also a member of SING (Senior Infertility Nurse Group, UK)
